Moscow Exchange completes first stage of migration to new data centre

Moscow Exchange has completed the first step to migrate its infrastructure to a new data centre: DataSpace1 became a disaster recovery (DR) site for the Exchange's trading and clearing platforms on 25 July 2016.

On 23 July, MOEX successfully ran public testing of exchange systems and members' connectivity to DataSpace1 as the DR site.

Moscow Exchange expects that DataSpace1 will become MOEX's primary site in November 2016. The M1 data center will operate as DR.

DataSpace1 is the first commercial data centre in Russia and continental Europe to have successfully completed the full cycle of Tier III certification. Moscow Exchange expects the reliable, cutting-edge data centre to improve service quality offered to its clients.
