Final testing of MOEX migration to new data center

We would like to invite you to participate in the final testing of the MOEX infrastructure migration to the new data center DataSpace1 that will take place on Saturday 5 November 2016.

Testing schedule (Moscow time zone):

11:00 – Systems are available for connection.

12:00 – Test trading session start.

14:00 – 14:05 – Intermediate clearing on the Derivatives market.

15:00 – End of test trading session, clearing.

15:10 – 15:30 – Distribution of the end of day reports for the derivatives market.

16:30 – Announcement of the testing results (at the MOEX web site and SMS for trading members who have subscribed to this service).

ASTS Gateways for the FX, Securities and Money markets located in the old 196.* network as well as remote gateways located at the customer sites will not be available during the testing.

On all the markets users should use their production IDs, passwords and IP addresses. The state of the credentials database will correspond to the production configuration on 7 November 2016.

We remind you that the modification of the customer software connection settings is required:

  • In the ASTS Bridges and MICEX trader terminals the following IPs must be specified in the "broadcast" parameter: 10.63.1.255,10.63.3.255,10.61.1.255,10.61.3.255. These IPs are already used as the primary addresses.
  • For the Spectra connection the addresses for PlazaII bridges and terminals as well as for FIX and TWIME gateways will change. The third octet in their IP addresses should be changed to *.252.*. Transactional connections are already available in the test mode.

In order to participate in this testing please send an email to help@moex.com before 17:00 MSK on 2 November 2016 indicating:

1. Contact person responsible for testing.

2. For the FX, Securities and Money markets:

  • Firm or user IDs.

3. For the Derivatives market:

  • Broker.
  • Login and clearing register used for testing.
  • If dedicated FORTS access server is used, please provide its IP address.
  • Do you want to receive test reports? If yes, please specify if these should be emailed or provided via the electronic document exchange system? If email then specify the address.

IMPORTANT: If you do not plan to participate, we highly recommend you to disconnect all your systems from the Moscow Exchange production infrastructure for that weekend in order to avoid receiving test market data. Because of the internal preparations the test market data may be also broadcasted in the production environment on Friday 4 November (there will be no trading at MOEX on this date because of the public holidays) and 6 November.
