New procedure to exercise USD/RUB and EUR/RUB futures and options

Starting with March 2015, USD/RUB and EUR/RUB futures will be exercised in the intraday clearing session (14:00 to 14:03 MSK) on the last day the contract may be executed, given that the Moscow Exchange publishes fixings, i.e. their exercise settlement values by 12:30 MSK.

Therefore, the Quarterlys options will be also exercised in intraday clearing session. Please note that staring with March all options are subject to new procedure.

With USD/RUB and EUR/RUB futures and options settlement inn intraday clearing session, the Moscow Exchange customers will be able to timely record their financial results, release collateral funds and use received assets to execute new transactions.
