Moscow Exchange to host London's premier Russia investment forum on Dec 6
Moscow Exchange will convene the annual Moscow Exchange Forum: London Session at the Grange St. Paul’s Hotel this Wednesday, 6 December 2017. This year’s forum is being held in partnership with Goldman Sachs.
The headline speaker on the opening plenary session, devoted to the Russian economy and investment picture, will be Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich. Arkady Dvorkovich oversees government policy across a broad portfolio of key areas including energy, industry, agriculture, innovation, science and IT. Other senior policy-makers speaking include Deputy Finance Minister Vladimir Kolychev.
Corporate leaders slated to speak at the Forum include Pavel Grachev, CEO of Polyus, Russia’s largest gold producer; Andrey Guryev, CEO of PhosAgro, Russia’s largest producer of phosphate fertilisers; and Moscow Exchange’s own CEO, Alexander Afanasiev.
Following the opening plenary session there will be a panel on trading opportunities in the Russian market, chaired by Alexander Afanasiev with contributions from experienced market processionals. Parallel breakout sessions in the afternoon will take an in-depth look at credit ratings of Russian issuers and the development of Moscow Exchange’s IT infrastructure to support trading in Russian assets.
On the second day of the event, December 7, institutional investors will have the opportunity for one-on-one meetings with management from over twenty Russian companies, including many blue-chip names.
The Forum is London’s premier event dedicated to Russia’s capital markets. It is hosted by Moscow Exchange to update the investment community on the state of the Russian economy, highlight trading opportunities and bring Russian companies to the attention of institutional investors. In addition to London, Moscow Exchange hosts MOEX Forums in key financial centres worldwide including New York and Shanghai.
