Annual load testing of Moscow Exchange trading and clearing systems

                Dear clients,

The next annual public load testing on production infrastructure of FX, Derivatives and Securities markets is scheduled for 17 April 2021.

The load testing allows trade members and their clients to measure performance and capacity of their systems as well as network bandwidth requirements at high transaction rates in order to plan the updates of own infrastructure to deal with "bottlenecks".

Testing schedule and capacity plan in the attachment (Russian+English). Testing will start at 12:00 MSK.

To participate please email your request to help@moex.com before 18:00 MSK of 15 April 2021 and include the following details:

                1. Contact person responsible for testing
                2. For the Derivatives market:
                  1. Broker.
                  2. Login and clearing register used for testing.
                  3. IP address.
                3. For Securities and FX markets:
                  1. User IDs or Firm ID.
                  2. IP address if they differ from current production setup.

                Note:

                • On Securities and FX markets we will use databases from start of 06 April 2021. So all instruments, risk parameters, users, permissions, allowed IP addresses, etc. will correspond to production setup of that date.
                • For all Plaza2 gates and trading terminal logins participating in testing the passwords will be reset to 12345. Please set this password in the client_router.ini file for testing period.

If you don’t want to participate in testing we recommend you to disconnect your systems from production environments of all markets for that weekend (17-18 April) in order to avoid receiving test market data.
