Conversion of IPJSC Lenta depository receipts
Moscow Exchange announces a corporate event at IP JSC Lenta ("Lenta"): the conversion of Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) into ordinary shares due to the expected termination of trading of Lenta’s GDRs on MOEX.
Due to Lenta’s ordinary shares being admitted to the MOEX Level 1 List on 26 November 2021 (ISIN RU000A102S15, ticker LENT) and the expected delisting of GDRs representing Lenta’s ordinary shares (ISIN US52634T2006, ticker LNTA), GDR holders may convert GDRs into ordinary shares.
The GDRs are expected to trade on Moscow Exchange alongside Lenta's ordinary shares until mid-2022; thereafter, the depositary receipts will be delisted from Moscow Exchange. Following delisting of the GDRs from Moscow Exchange, GDR holders will be able to continue trading the GDRs on the London Stock Exchange.
Please note that holders can convert GDRs into Lenta’s ordinary shares at a conversion ratio of 5 to 1, i.e. the holder will receive one share for every 5 GDRs.
A more detailed investor guide to converting GDRs into ordinary shares on Moscow Exchange is available on the Lenta website.
