SPECTRA system upgrade on 28 July 2014

Moscow Exchange would like to inform you that SPECTRA trading system version 3.10 is scheduled to roll on production for 28 July 2014.

What's new in the upcoming release:

  1. Separate positions and account balance control between Clearing members and their clients.
  2. Risk transfer between FX and Derivatives markets. Detailed information is available at Moscow Exchange web sight.
  3. Position (obligations) transfer between Broker Firm clients within a single Clearing firm.
  4. New Market Making functionality.

Please also note that the new changes will also be implemented in daily reports format. Detailed information about changes in SPECTRA 3.10 reporting.

We would like to inform you that on 26 July 2014 the production version of SPECTRA trading system will be available for functional testing by Trading Participants.

Testing schedule on 26 July (Moscow time zone):

11:30 - 12:15 – Start of the trading system, clients' connections
12:15 - 13:30 – Monday day session simulation (28.07.2014)
13:30 - 13:35 – Intermediate Clearing
13:35 - 14:30 – Monday day session simulation (28.07.2014)
14:30 - 14:50 – Day Clearing, report generation
14:50 - 15:00 – Monday evening session simulation (28.07.2014)
15:00 - 15:45 – Tuesday day session simulation, (29.07.2014 – FX market system rolls to next trading day)
15:45 - 15:50 – Intermediate Clearing
15:50 - 16:05 – Tuesday day session simulation (29.07.2014)
16:05 - 16:30 – Evening clearing, report generation, test completion

If you would like to participate in system testing, please email your request to help@moex.com before 17:00 MSK on 24 July 2014. Your request must contain the following details:

  • Contact person responsible for testing.
  • Broker.
  • Login and clearing register used for testing.
  • IP address.
  • If dedicated FORTS access server is used, please provide its IP address.

Clients who have not submitted their request on time, will not be allowed to participate in functional testing.

Please pay attention to the new testing admission procedure:
For all logins participating in testing the passwords will be reset to 12345. Please change the new test password in the client_router.ini file for testing period and revert it to your production password after the testing is complete.
