                Moscow Exchange Trading Volumes in June 2024

                In June 2024, total trading volumes across Moscow Exchange’s markets was RUB 114.6 trln (RUB 97.3 in June 2023). Unless stated otherwise, all figures below refer to performance for May 2024 and all comparisons are with the same period last year.

                Equity & Bond Market

                The trading volume was RUB 3.9 trln (June 2023: RUB 3.0 trln), hereinafter excluding overnight bonds.

                Trading volume in shares, DRs and investment fund units was RUB 2.3 trln (June 2023: RUB 1.9 trln). ADTV was RUB 120.9 bln (June 2023: RUB 90.1 bln).

                Turnover in corporate, regional and sovereign bonds reached RUB 1.6 trln (June 2023: RUB 1.2 trln). ADTV was RUB 85.6 bln (June 2023: RUB 56.2 bln).

                79 issues with a combined value of RUB 1.9 trln (of which overnight bonds accounted for RUB 1.1 trln) were placed.

                Derivatives Market

                The trading volume was RUB 8.8 trln (June 2023: RUB 6.9 trln). ADTV was RUB 465.6 bln (June 2023: RUB 327.4 bln).

                FX Market

                The trading volume was RUB 21.5 trln (June 2023: RUB 23.8 trln). with spot trades amounting to RUB 7.2 trln and swap trades and forwards totaling RUB 14.3 trln.

                ADTV was RUB 1.1 trln (June 2023: RUB 1.1 trln).

                Money Market

                Money Market turnover was RUB 79.2 trln (June 2023: RUB 61.7 trln). ADTV was RUB 4.2 trln (June 2023: RUB 2.9 trln).

                The CCP-cleared repo segment reached RUB 32.1 trln, including the GCC repo segment which totalled RUB 23.6 trln.

                Precious Metals Market

                Turnover in precious metals (spot and swaps) was RUB 49.9 bln (June 2023: RUB 29.0 bln), of which RUB 46.9 bln (7.2 t) was gold and RUB 3.0 bln (25.9 t) was silver.
