Transaction fee for Flood Control errors

The fee is designed to stimulate the appropriate use of the Exchange's IT infrastructure and to increase the quality of service to the market participants. Notifications are send in form of clearing reports.

The start of the charging of the transaction fee for Flood Control errors is on December 1, 2016.

Fee calculation methodology

  • The fee is calculated for each trading system login; it is charged to the clearing account the login is tied to (same as for the fee for the erroneous transactions)

Step 1. Fee calculation for a second

  • Seconds in which the number of Flood Control errors was less than 5% the number of allowed transactions for this login are not taken into account
  • The fee at the second i is calculated based on the number x of flood control errors in this particular second:

Step 2. Calculation of the fee for a trading session

  • The fee for a trading session is calculated as sum of fees for each second of the session

  • Fees less than 1 000 rub for a session are not charged
  • The upper limit for the fee for a session is 45 000 RUB
  • In the first 2 trading sessions of each calendar month with a fee above 1 000 RUB the fee is not charged
