About Universal scheme configuration changes

Moscow Exchange would like to inform you about planned changes in Universal connectivity scheme which require specific actions by the Trading members.

In order to

  • Minimize UAT data usage in production systems risks
  • Split UAT and production environments on the client side
  • Introduce additional security for UAT environment activity

the following changes will be implemented:

A separate logical VLAN will be added to Universal connectivity scheme CLT network segment which will only allow access to UAT and simulation servers. Corresponding change on the client side will be done by MOEX network specialists by agreed date. Planned period to complete changes for all Universal scheme connections — from 1 December 2014 until 1 January 2015. LAN addressing logic is specified below.

In order for Trading members to migrate their UAT connections to equipment located in new network segment, access to UAT and simulation servers will be granted during transition period from 1 January 2015 until 31 March 2015.

Access to UAT environment will be disabled from CLT and DMZ network segments for all Universal scheme connections starting from 31 March 2015.

LAN addressing logic for TST network segment:

For CLT segment on the client side IP addresses are provided from 10.X.Y.0/24 subnets, and for TST segment IP addresses are from 10.(X+16).Y.0/24 segment.
For illustration, if the client is given addresses 10.160.20.0/24 for CLT segment, TST segment addresses will be allocated from 10.176.20.0/24 subnet.
The client can use any IP addresses from the assigned subnet starting from 5.
