Polymetal International ords, RN Holding prefs to be included in Moscow Exchange indices
Moscow Exchange's Index Committee, at a meeting on 21 August 2013, proposed updated constituent lists for the Broad Market Index, MICEX Index, RTS Index, Second-Tier Index, Blue-Chip Index, and sectoral indices, as well as free-float ratios, for 17 September through 16 December 2013.
Megafon and Polymetal International ords and RN Holding prefs will be added to the Broad Market Index, while Dorogobuzh, Platform Utinet.ru, and Korshynov Mining Plant ords will be removed.
Megafon and Polymetal International ords will be added to the MICEX Index and RTS Index, while Acron and Raspadskaya ords will be removed.
Acron and Raspadskaya ords and RN Holding prefs will join the Second-Tier Index, while Dorogobuzh, Platform Utinet.ru, and Korshynov Mining Plant ords will leave it. The Blue-Chip Index constituents will remain unchanged.
Our Sectoral Indices Calculation Methodology requires that shares included in the Broad Market Index also be included in the relevant sectoral index. Thus, Megafon ords will be included in the Telecommunications Index; RN Holding prefs will be added to the Oil & Gas Index; Polymetal International ords will join the Metals & Mining Index, while Korshynov Mining Plant ords will leave it; and Dorogobuzh ords will be removed from the Chemicals Index.
Some stocks in the new constituent lists will see adjustments to the ratios used to determine their free floats:
