Moscow Exchange to host Russian financial markets conference in New York
Moscow Exchange, Russia"s main securities exchange, will convene a major conference for the emerging markets investment and trading community in New York on October 7, 2015. The event, Moscow Exchange Forum: New York Session, is an opportunity for U.S.-based market participants to learn about recent developments in Russia's financial markets and the many trading and investment opportunities.
The high-profile speakers for the event include Alexey Kudrin, Chairman of the Board of Moscow Exchange and one of Russia's most respected statesmen as Finance Minister from 2000-2011. Also speaking on the plenary session will be Sergey Shvetsov, First Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Russia and Alexey Moiseev, Russia"s Deputy Finance Minister.
Other speakers include co-founder and CEO of Virtu Financial Douglas Cifu, Capital Group portfolio manager Lisa Thompson, Credit Suisse Russia and CIS CEO Steven Hellman and many others.
