New lists of constituents for the Moscow Exchange index family released
New constituent lists for the MICEX Index, RTS Index, RTS Standard Index, RTS-2 Index, RTS Siberia Index, MICEX Innovation Index, sectoral indices and pension indices have been approved and will be in effect from 18th December through 15th March 2012.
The MICEX Index and the RTS Index will be calculated based upon the unified constituents list of 50 most capitalized stocks and outstanding stocks (free-float) formed in compliance with the principles of the Moscow Exchange Unified Index Family. Starting from December 18, 2012 twenty shares will be included into the MICEX constituents list.
Ordinary shares of AC ALROSA OJSC and SOLLERS OJSC will be included into the RTS Index list of constituents from the waiting list. They will replace preferred shares of TNK-BP Holding OJSC and ordinary shares of Bank Saint Petersburg OJSC.
Ordinary shares of NOVATEK OJSC will leave the waiting list and will be added to the reviewed RTS Standard constituents list. They will replace ordinary shares of Surgutneftegas OJSC.
The reviewed RTS-2 list of constituents will also comply with the principles of the Moscow Exchange unified Index family which provides for computing the mid-cap shares Index based on the list of 50 second tier stocks and outstanding stocks following the first tier stocks and outstanding stocks which are the MICEX and RTS Indices" constituents.
TGK14 OJSC ordinary shares will become new constituents of the RTS Siberia Index. They will replace ordinary shares of Kuzbasskaya Toplivnaya Company (OJSC) and TGK-11 OJSC.
The MICEX Innovation Index constituents list will remain unchanged.
The sectoral indices" constituents lists are formed in compliance with the calculation rules based on the waiting lists.
The Industrials Sector Index constituents list will include ordinary shares of GAZ OJSC and Motovilikhinskiye zavody OJSC, whereas ordinary shares of Zawolzhsky Motorny Zawod (OJSC) will be excluded from the list. Preferred shares of Tatneft OJSC will join the Oil & Gas Sector Index constituents list. The Petrochemicals Sector Index"s list of constituents will include ordinary shares of KazanOrgSynthes OJSC and PhosAgro OJSC. The Electric Utilities Sector Index constituents list will include ordinary shares of TGK-9.
