ISS changes - ISSRPC decommission and ISS legacy functions deactivation - March 1, 2021
Dear clients,
Moscow Exchange informs its partners - consumers of the MOEX market data who source the data via the Informational and Statistical Server (ISS, https://www.moex.com/a2920) of the following changes, scheduled for March 1, 2021.
Please note that these changes only affect the data transmitted via the ISS and do not affect the data transmitted via other technological solutions (that is, non-ISS, such as Gateway, FAST).
I. Step-by-step decommission of the previous generation of ISS API – ISSRPC
The ISSRPC is an already unsupported set of methods to access MOEX market and reference data, as well as statistics, news and a few other types of information.
The current version of ISS provides these kinds of data via alternative functions, and works faster.
Moscow Exchange starts the process of decommissioning the ISSRPC, which will begin on March 1, 2021 and should be completed by the end of Q2.
The first set of methods to be deactivated on March 1, can be found in the attachment.
If you still have references to moex.com/issrpc/ in your systems, please initiate re-implementation to the supported method set (https://iss.moex.com/iss/reference?lang=en).
II. Legacy and undocumented functions deactivation in ISS
As part of the current ISS API version optimization, on March 1 a number of legacy and undocumented functions will be deactivated, please refer to the attachment.
These functions should not be used by clients and the data these methods provide access to has not been updated for at least two years.
Please make sure your systems use only publicly documented ISS methods (https://iss.moex.com/iss/reference?lang=en).
If you have any questions, please contact help@moex.com.
